Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule—Generic (ADOS-G)

ADOS-G is an observation-based assessment of the socio-communicative behaviors that are often delayed in autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. During the assessment, a trained examiner takes careful notes on traits and behaviors associated with an autism diagnosis. The examination consists of four 30-minute sessions that address communication, social interaction, play, and imaginative use of materials.
